The first edition of Glass Performance Days South America (GPD SAME) was held in Sao Paulo, Brazil on the 6th to 7th May, 2010. It was held in conjunction with the Glass South America Exhibition. The event attracted participants (including speakers) from different parts of the world.

For the launch in Brazil and the local arrangements GPD has teamed up with the organizers of the Glass South America trade fair, Abravidro and the Nürnberg Messe.

The Conference Agenda remained the responsibility of the experienced GPD organization, while the local activities and facilities were organized by Nürnberg Messe.


Glass Technology, Solar & Design as theme

The focus was on new glass technologies, solar and design. Special emphasiswas put on the issue of how to improve the profitability of a glass company supplying architectural & solar solutions.

The theme has been chosen by the organizers to enable discussions to review the current & critical topics needed to enhance the steadily growing glass & solar industries in the region.
